The Sacred Cow: A Place to Talk Yoga (Without All the Bull) is a new yoga blog that Karen is writing in cooperation with Pranamaya, a cutting edge and inventive San Francisco-based yoga media company. Samadhi & the City was a professional, weekly blog written for Yoga Journal's website. It spanned a year and a half, from July 2007 until December 2008. Karen covered the local, San Francisco yoga scene and loved every minute of it.

Tales of Guate was a personal, sporadic blog that chronicled her experiences in Guatemala during 2006, when she taught Journalism and English to university students and professional journalists as part of a State Department fellowship. Karen lived in Guatemala City that year, which is otherwise known as Guate.
